Galway China Association Chairpersons:

Catherine O'Brien: Travelled extensively in China 1991-1993. Has three beautiful Irish - Chinese children; Eva, Mo Bei & Song Song. Runs the Da Tang Noodle House on Middle Street with Chinese Partner Du Han Tuo.

Angela Savage: Mother to Li Lu (born in China in 1998) and Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at NUI Galway where she had research links with Wuhan University.

Galway China Association Committee Members:

James O'Sullivan: A visiting lecturer with Beijing university of Chinese Medicine, developed the first Tuina Chinese medical acupressure courses to be offered in VEC colleges in Ireland. James is passionate about traditional Chinese medicine and practices acupuncture, Tuina, nutritional and herbal therapy from his clinic in Galway.

Cathy Geng: A teacher from north of China, Dalian City, she has been living in Galway for 9 years. She has been doing Mandarin Chinese teaching for 6 years, now is teaching Chinese in Galway Business School and Galway St. Nicholas Parochial School (primary school); also she is an interpreter and a translator.

Michael Chang: Born in the U.S. to Chinese immigrants and raised in the Northwest city of Seattle, he has been living in Galway for the past ten years. Trained as a classical violinist, he is now immersed in Galway's vibrant traditional Irish music scene.
